CHILDHOOD VICTIM OF SEXUAL ABUSE TO SPEAK OUT PUBLICLY FOR THE FIRST TIME

A courageous childhood clergy sexual abuse victim of Rev. Edward J. Byington of the Fall River Diocese, MA, will speak to the media about the childhood sexual abuse he was subjected to from Rev. Edward J. Byington at St. Paul’s Parish, Taunton, MA which is now closed and/or sold, and he will discuss the mid-five-figure settlement recently reached with the Diocese of Fall River, MA
Fr. Byington sexually abused the child when he was approximately 12 years of age and the sexual abuse took place at a house at Sabbatia Lake in Taunton during a trip. The victim will discuss the trauma of being sexually abused as a child.
