A SIX-FIGURE FINANCIAL SETTLEMENT HAS BEEN REACHED BETWEEN DERBY ACADEMY, HINGHAM, MA, AND AN INNOCENT CHILD SEXUAL ABUSE VICTIM OF SERIAL ABUSER AND FORMER TEACHER, ROBERT STEPHEN PHILLIPS, JR. (A TEACHER AT MANY PRIVATE SCHOOLS ACROSS THE COUNTRY)

According to reports, Derby Academy, a co-educational school for elementary and middle-aged students in Hingham, MA, hired Robert Stephen Phillips, Jr. in approximately 1969 to teach and coach at Derby Academy.

The victim was allegedly repeatedly sexually abused by Robert Stephen Phillips, Jr. as a student from ages 12-14 at Derby Academy, Hingham, MA, on a school-sponsored ski trip to Stowe, Vermont; a school-sponsored trip to Virginia Beach, Virginia; and, at the home of Robert Stephen Phillips, Jr. in Cohasset, MA.

On several occasions, the minor child was given alcohol and then sexually abused by Robert Stephen Phillips, Jr. 

Robert Stephen Phillips, Jr. was reportedly a sexual abuser of children throughout the Middle and New England States of the United States.
