The male childhood sexual abuse victim of Fr. Roger W. Carlin was sexually abused in approximately 1966-1967 when he was approximately 9 years old and a parishioner of St. John Vianney Parish in South Burlington, VT.
Fr. Roger W. Carlin, a Burlington, VT, diocesan priest for approximately 20 years, spent approximately 13 years of his 20 years as a priest “on duty outside the diocese,” including two countries, the Archdiocese of Boston, MA, and the Diocese of Manchester, NH. He also spent several years “on leave of absence” with no indication of his whereabouts, and he was also listed as being on “sick leave.”
