A COURAGEOUS CLERGY SEXUAL ABUSE VICTIM FROM THE ARCHDIOCESE OF HARTFORD, CT, TO HOLD A ZOOM PRESS CONFERENCE WITH HIS ATTORNEY TO SPEAK ABOUT THE SEXUAL ABUSE HE EXPERIENCED FOR TWO YEARS BY A SERIAL  PEDOPHILE, FATHER DANIEL F. MCSHEFFERY

THE VICTIM, WHOSE FINANCIAL SETTLEMENT WAS IN THE SIX FIGURES, WILL IDENTIFY HIMSELF AND SPEAK OPENLY ABOUT HIS ABUSE

What

A zoom press conference in which an innocent victim of clergy sexual abuse will speak about a two-year period of abuse at St. George’s Parish in Guilford, CT as an altar boy.  Father Daniel F. McSheffery groomed the victim for two months before commencing two years of sexual abuse in the church sacristy and in a building behind the church.  The victim was 12-14 years of age when sexually abused.`

When

Tuesday, November 19, 2024 at 11:30 am.  Please look for the Zoom link below.

Why

The childhood sexual abuse victim, currently in his 60’s, will talk about approximately 20 occasions during which Father Daniel F. McSheffery sexually abused him.  When the victim ended the final sexual abuse occurrence, his family on that day turned against him and punished him violently.  He was told by his parents that they were informed by Saint George’s Church that he was fired as an altar server because he struck Father McSheffery.  He was kicked out of his house at age 16 after receiving beatings from his parents, and he lived in the forests surrounding Guilford, CT in order to survive.  Recently, he received a six-figure settlement from the Archdiocese of Hartford.

Who

“John Doe” will appear on Zoom with his attorney, Mitchell Garabedian of Boston, MA.
