The Roman Catholic Diocese of Des Moines, Iowa, is revictimizing a childhood sexual abuse victim by not fairly and compassionately settling his claim of sexual abuse by a trusted Church employee, representative, agent, music director, and CCD teacher, Dr. John David Ott (currently incarcerated)
The courageous victim, Edwin Allen Graf, was a child when he attended St. Patrick’s Parish in Corning, Iowa, from approximately the age of 7 to the age of 18.
When the courageous victim, Edwin Allen Graf, was approximately 11 years of age, he met Dr. John David Ott, the music director at St. Patrick’s Parish in Corning, IA, and Dr. John David Ott recruited Edwin Allen Graf to play the trumpet with parish musicians, and he began to sexually abuse him thereafter.
Even after Edwin Allen Graf reported the sexual abuse to Msgr. John Kovacs about the sexual abuse, the sexual abuse continued.
