Monsignor is God's ambassador

Letter To the Editor:

Monsignor Kenneth Lasch was God's ambassador.

I was saddened to read about the recent retirement of Lasch, former pastor of St. Joseph's Church in Mendham. One can truly understand how his fight for the tormented priest-abuse has also taken a toll on his health.

I applaud his courage and bravery to stand up for what is right in the face of adversity from his own colleagues. He gave hope to those who despaired and did the job he was called upon to do -- a true ambassador of the lord.
